September came this year with everyone gearing up for all that gorgeous fall weather, pumpkin spice lattes, bonfires, and cool evenings, but like Missouri tends to do, our weather shifted and instead of cooler, fall weather, we got to enjoy summertime a little longer on the Vaughn’s wedding day!
The day started out beautifully with bright sunshine, fluffy clouds, and a bunch of happy, excited people bustling around preparing for the wedding! After greeting all the ladies, James and I gathered up all Nicole’s beautiful details and got to work documenting all the items Nicole had put together for her wedding day.
After this, I went into the bridal chamber and captured that special moment between mother and daughter as mom helped Nicole into her gorgeous, silk wedding dress. Nicole’s dress had so much classy elegance to it, yet she still let her spunky, fun attitude show through by wearing violet sneakers under her dress! Her dad got quite the kick out of that during their first look! His face is so precious moment he opened his eyes and saw his daughter! We also did a first look with all of Nicole’s bridesmaids. It was quite hard for her dear sister to keep the water works at bay the moment she turned around and saw her sister adorned in her wedding dress. ❤️
The ceremony was held in the First United Methodist Church in Rolla, MO. The moment that Mason saw Nicole start walking down the aisle, his face became very calm and peaceful and by the time Nicole had reached him, he was wiping away tears of joy. These two were so excited to officially begin their lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn!
After the ceremony, they all headed out to the Oak Meadow Country Club in Rolla, MO for their reception and pictures. This place is a wonderful location in Rolla for wedding receptions because it has a kitchen, beautiful reception area, and then gorgeous acres of the golf course for pictures. As you will see by the pictures, it is a wonderful venue!
The night went on with lots of laughter, dancing, tears, fantastic toasts, amazing food, and great music!
Nicole and Mason, James and I were so honored to be a part of your wedding day and capture such precious memories for you both. We wish you many happy years together!
